Blended value results when economic [profit], social [people], and environmental [planet] bottom lines converge, regardless of whether the organization/investor is corporate or philanthropic. Not surprisingly, this blog explores related fields and concepts such as corporate social responsibility, social entrepreneurship, venture philanthropy, green living and sustainability. What may be surprising is that it makes transparent my attempts to incorporate such sustainable principles into my lifestyle. Now that I’ve given you an overview of my blog, I will tell you a little about me. My name is LaTeisha Moore and like my blog, I have some blended experiences and interests. I’m a lil’ West Coast (born in Utah) and a lil’ East Coast (live in New York). I’ve moved between profit and not-for-profit. I like gastronomic grub and cheap eats; fine wining and fun dive-ing; fab fashion design and vixen vintage finds. I can rock the nightlife and take in some Nerd Nites. And of course, I prefer the novel to the mundane.
